Nakia recently completed an incredible order of 400 cookies for an art auction at the Contemporary Dayton. She attributes her success to the support and facilities provided by the 6888 Kitchen:
“Hey foodie friends, this is a story all about how I made 400 cookies and I survived somehow. So I was commissioned back in April to do 400 cookies for an art auction for the Contemporary Dayton, which is an art gallery located in the Dayton Arcade if you are unaware. And if I've never mentioned before this moment, I am so grateful for 6888 Kitchen for two reasons. Because A, I was visible to this particular company because I was a member of the kitchen and that's how they even heard of me. And then secondarily, there's no way I would have been able to bake 400 cookies in my home kitchen in the time frame that I was allotted to do this.”

Having worked several years from my licensed home kitchen, and pop-up tent setups, this gives my business the structures needed to grow successfully. This kitchen will allow me to expand my menu, as well as have a place where my customers can find me.”
